Brayering February monthly Class

February monthly class is nearly here and have I got some gorgeous projects we are going to make in them.

Both the Friday and Saturday Monthly Classes are already fully subscribed, but there is no reason why you couldn’t join in remotely! Yes, remotely, I have written the tutorials for the two projects and I have made videos showing the technique of sponge brayering as well as how to make one of the cards!

Fairy Celebration!

Hi,

It’s been a few weeks, sorry, been soooo busy since my BOGOF/make n take day!

Suffice to say there are still alot of SU products I have for sale despite the BOGOF lol so get in touch if you are interested to see what is left.

However, FAIRY CELEBRATION! What’s that about you ask?

Well, SU have brought out a brand new stamp set called ‘Fairy Celebration’ and oh my goodness it is gorgeous!  It was just the stamp I needed to make a card for a lovely lady who comes to my classes and is also a great friend, who recently had an operation.

Here’s the card I made.  It’s a Shaker card, and I used Dazzling Diamond Glitter for the ‘fairy dust’.  Looks like she walking down into it doesn’t it?

Mother’s Day Card/Gift

Hi,

It’s been a while since I last posted, sorry, but have been soooo busy, not only with classes etc, but have just become a Nanna, so of course that takes priority!

That’s why I thought my Coffee n Card this Thursday (25 February 15:00-16:00) at No.9 Cafe, Bishops Cleeve should involve making a lovely Mother’s Day card and gift!

Pinkies Blog Hop – Saleabration

There are so many gorgeous products in this years Sale-a-Bration Catalogue, that you will definitely want to place an order and get those FREEBIES! lol I love them all and again it was hard choosing just one to showcase for you. So I thought I would show you the gorgeous Vellum Stack, Botanical Gardens and the Botanicals For You stamp set.  These two coordinate beautifully and in fact you will find they coordinate well with other stamps and papers in our new spring/summer catalogue.

Here is the first project I have made for you.

As you can see I have done a beautiful gift bag in Vellum. First of all I stamped the words ‘Just for You, from Botanicals For You stamp set, using Rose Red Ink. Then using a Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the words exactly over the top, I heat embossed the words over the top with Clear Embossing Powder. Using clear embossing powder is a great way to get all the colours you wish for. Isn’t it gorgeous! To make it stand out even more I have sponged on the back of the vellum using Rose Red ink and a sponge dauber. I also coloured the larger flowers on the back with crushed curry marker pen.

Botanicals card

Next I made a lovely coordinating card to go with it.  Again I have used some of the same Vellum, and stuck it to some Rose Red Cardstock, using Glue dots in the corners.  To hide the glue dots, I have added large pearls over the top. I stamped flowers from the Botanicals For You stamp set onto Shimmery White CS, using Rose Red, Perfect plum and crushed curry Inks. I stuck the flowers on the vellum using glue dots and added tiny pearls to each of them. Finally I stamped ‘…on your special day’ from the same stamp set on shimmery white cs with crushed curry ink, flagged one end using paper snips and stuck it to the card with dimensionals.  Can you see I added the single crushed curry flower to the banner which I think makes it ‘special’!

Give these together to someone special and they will be bowled over!

Coffee N Card Thursday 3 September

Coffee n Card 6 August

Hi,
