Heat Embossing, Vellum, Ribbon

Hi,

I had a great time last Thursday with a lovely lady who comes every Thursday for a 1-2-1 with me.  This week I taught her how to heat emboss on vellum and how to colour in.  The second card, she wanted to do a card using ribbon so I taught her how to stamp onto small pieces of card even when the stamp is larger than the card and how to attach the ribbon.

As you can see from the pictures below of the two cards we did, they were gorgeous and alot of techniques are shown.  I have also made a couple of videos showing how I made these cards, so click on the photo and it will take you to the video.  The video/pictures are also on the tutorial page for future reference should you wish to look at them again.

Thanks for dropping by.

Christmas Workshop 21 22 August

Hi! I hope you are all well and starting to think about Christmas! Yes I know some of you may not have had your Summer Holiday yet, lol, me included! However in the crafting world we have to plan ahead and get our Christmas workshops booked and planned well in advance!

I’ve already done two and they were full, and very well received, so you can tell there are some ‘insane’ crafters lol like me out there!

My next Christmas Themed Workshops are Friday 21 August and Saturday 22 August.  The Friday workshop is already full, but there are still spaces on the Saturday workshop. So why not take a look at the projects you will be making and go to the Christmas Themed Workshop Page to book your place for the Saturday workshop.  These are great fun, you make 4 lovely projects, all designed by me, mostly cards, but also gift tags and gift packaging which you get to make too. There’s a raffle too and everyone that joins me at the workshops, whether it’s just one or all of them, can join me in December for my Christmas Get together when the raffle will be drawn.  All the prizes are Stampin’Up! products so you know they are worth having and refreshments will be served during the get together.

If you don’t live close enough to attend my classes/workshops, but you would love to make the projects, please email me and I can look into doing them as an online workshop, along with videos and written tutorials for you to purchase.

So here’s the projects, I hope you like them and they inspire you to go book a space and join me on Saturday 22 August.

I hope to hear from you soon and see you at the workshop.

Pinkies Blog Hop

Pinkies Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the New Stampin’Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

This is my first time in the Pinkies Blog Hop and I am so excited to be joining you for the June Blog Hop! Especially because I get to showcase some lovely New Products, which means lots of ‘play’ time for me in my Craft Room.  I hope you like what you see and hope you will look around my Website later on after you have been all the way through the Pinkies Blog Hop.

I decided to showcase the Build A Birthday Stamp Set. There is so much you can do with this stamp set, just look what I did with it, party invitations, decorate party gift bags, decorate gift boxes as well as make lovely Birthday Cards.  I also used Cherry on the Top Washi Tape and another new Stamp Set, Tin of Cards. By combining the Build a Birthday Stamp Set with the Washi tape, you can mix things up to get some great effects.

So here’s the projects I made:

As you can see I have made a gorgeous birthday card with three candles peeking out of a hole, an Invitation again with three candles, a lovely decorated Petite Cafe Gift Bag, for all those goodies the children take home with them, and finally a mini treat box to put either sweets or a small cake inside.

Here is the birthday card, the invitation and the decorated gift bag for a closer look:

So now it’s time to hop on over to Nicole to see what amazing projects she has made with some new products.

Thanks and have a lovely weekend!
