Party Pandas – so cute!

I just don’t know where all the time is going!  I can’t believe we are into March already!  Don’t get me started on the weather! GRRRR! Hubby and I were meant to have gone up to see our gorgeous Granddaughter last Wednesday, but the snow here was sooooo bad our village got completely cut off!  All roads in and out blocked!  Thankfully our lovely daughter sent lots of photos to keep us going lol.

Anyway, we are still pressing on with clearing our home ready for a move and so my craft room is shrinking lol.  However I did make a couple of cards last month, one using the gorgeous Saleabrations FREEBIE, Party Pandas.  Aren’t the stamps cute?  So many uses, birthdays, Anniversary, Valentine, just to tell someone you love them, or to say ‘Hi’.

Here’s the card I made for my swap at our Pinkies Training last month.

Isn’t it cute?  The great thing about it is it wobbles! Oh yes it does! lol  Gently flick the panda and he wobbles around!  The papers I used for the background was from the 6″ x 6″ Picture Perfect Dsp Pack.  It has proven so popular and has gorgeous colours and images in it.  Just look at all the different patterns you get and with them being 6″ x 6″ they are ideal for cards and scrapbooking alike!

I just love going to our Pinkies Training, being part of such a huge Team, you get to meet so many lovely fellow Demonstrators, get amazing support and fantastic inspiration!  Want to know more contact me and join my Team and you can join me and my team at future trainings!

Below are the products I used to make this fun card!  If you wish to see the video and receive the tutorial, use the Hostess Code for March, place an order for £45+ with me and not only will you get access to the video, the tutorial emailed to you, but if you choose the Party Pandas stamp set as your FREE Saleabration item, I will personally send you a card kit and tutorial to make another beautiful card using your FREE Party Pandas stamp set.  Don’t forget to allow me to contact you when you put in your order via my online shop.

Saleabration is almost over, you only have until 31 March 2018 to place an order of £45+ to get any SAB FREEBIES!  The latest lot of SAB products are to die for, especially the gorgeous Springtime Foils SDSP.  Just look at the paper, it is amazing!

Celebrations are nearly over!

Well, the Celebrations are nearly over for another year but I thought you might like to see some of the cards I made for my loved ones as well as my customers and Team members.  Also included are  Commission Cards and birthday cards!  I have been sooooo busy this month, never thought I was going to get it all completed in time for Christmas!  I was making the family cards on Christmas Eve!!!! lol

Here’s the family ones first:

The first one I used ‘Shooting Stars’ stamp set and matching die and was for my hubby.  The next one used Jolly Friends and again a die from the sliding star framelits, for my Son.  My daughter and hubby got the Stocking one which is supposed to resemble a bannister with the stockings hanging from it (don’t think they realised that lol).  The last one and I must admit the most special was for our first grandchild for her 1st Christmas! A card in a box using Snow Place stamp set and matching dies (I’ve blurred out the baby pictures that are on the two side panels).  These were such fun to make, and when you have read the blog entry, you will realise why I was making these on Christmas Eve! lol

The next set of cards were ones I made for my Team and Customers as a thank you for their support over the last year.  I also made them all a small gift to show my appreciation:

The first card was for my Team members and I used the gorgeous Father Christmas Stamp set, absolutely adorable with so much detail. I loved using this stamp without colouring it in.  The second picture is the box I created holding all the gifts I made for my team members.  This time, having made the box using the Gift Box punch board, I stamped all the ‘mice’ images onto whisper white cs and coloured them in using the BRAND NEW Watercolour Pencils that are in the brand new Seasonal Catalogue! These will be available from my from 6 January, so if you want a copy of the catalogue please get in touch!  Once I had coloured the images in, I used an aquapainter to make it look watercoloured. Gorgeous and so much fun!

The third picture is of the card I made for my customers, a shaker card, using Mica Flakes and the shake and celebrate stamp set and matching dies.  You can even make the cut out resemble Christmas Tree, which I did but oops forgot to take a photo!  Take my word for it, lol it’s impressive! lol.  The beautiful lumiere jar was the gift I made for my customers and they loved them!  I used peaceful pines stamp set and matching dies on vellum, stuck it round the outside of the jar, washi tape around the lid along with dazzling diamond glimmer paper to cover top of lid with a beautiful red glimmer bow.  Inside is a battery operated tea light that changes colours and believe me when all your lights are turned down or off, it glows and shines beautifully!  In fact, I was asked how I had made it as one of my ladies wants to make some for herself!

Now for some Commission Cards, cards for friends and family too that I have made this month.  Told you it’s been a really busy month! lol

The first three cards were all Commissions.  The lovely gentleman asked for 9 Christmas cards and I’m not keen on making multiples of the same card, as you may have gathered lol, so these were just some and all different, oops again forgot to take photos of others lol, but they were all different.  He was thrilled with them.  I used merry tags dies and merriest wishes stamp set for the first three cards.  Then there’s a Gift Card holder, which, in fact I also made in my last Coffee n Card and made more for my own family.  The Santa coat card, I Cased from I think it may have been Gill Arnold, but sorry I can not be sure.

Next I made this amazing framed xmas scene for a friend of mine, as a decoration!  You see, she doesn’t put decorations up in her house, lol so I made this and now she has at least one ‘decoration’ to put up every year! lol.  As you can see I used lots of different stamp sets and dies, see if you can name them all! lol  The motorbike birthday card was for my cousin, unfortunately I was sooo caught up with xmas cards etc, I forgot to make it in time, so I made it a ‘belated’ one instead hehe.  Don’t think he minded! lol  I used Born to Ride stamp set and the card is a ‘z’ fold card, so much fun I have made lots using this technique and will be teaching it in my first class in January.

I used another z fold card to make this piggy card for a friends hubby (the same friend who doesn’t do xmas decorations hehe).  Her hubby is mad about pigs so I had to make a piggy one! lol  I used Playful pals to make the big pig and farmyard babies for little piggies.  As you can see the z fold technique is great for this type of card.  Notice yet another z fold card? Yep this time the crab at sea for brother in law! lol  The card in a box was the other commission card the gentleman asked me to make for his granddaughter. So elegant isn’t it, and very girly.  The final card is a chest of drawers with jumpers hanging out for a friends son who is mad about jumpers! lol.

Well I think that is about it for now.  Christmas is over and now I am back at it, getting ready for the biggest event of the Stampin’Up! Calendar, Saleabration!

So please check back very soon to see what’s on offer, what my new Classes are going to be making and if you fancy a party, do I have a deal for you!!

number of years squash book
I went to a Pinkies Training in Croughton recently, where fellow Pinkies Demonstrators meet up, and among other amazing activities we do throughout the day, we make Swaps showcasing a project that we have enjoyed making and swap it with our fellow Demonstrators.  My swap was a Squash Book, and I was thrilled that so many loved it and was asked if I would make a video.

number of years squash book open
So I thought I would share with you the Squash Book I made, along with the list of Supplies needed to make one yourselves.  Included in the Supply List is my Tutorial which you are welcome to use, but please give me credit! lol. I loved making this squash book and in fact one of my customers that comes every week for a 1-2-1 lesson, asked if I could show her how to make one so she could give it to someone special. I hope you like it too and have a go.
Click on each product to place an order and click on ‘supply list’ at the bottom of the tiled products to get access to the tutorial.
