Coffee N Card – Father’s Day/Male Birthday

Hi!

You may be wondering where I’ve been recently? Well first of all I was poorly with the Flu, yep actual flu lol which developed to a chest infection. Then I went on a well-earned Holiday with my amazing Hubby and some friends to Mexico, to celebrate both his 60th and one of the friends 60th. Happen that whilst we were away it was also my birthday (not 60 though! hehe).  Anyways, thought I’d drop by today to remind you I have my Coffee n Card Session at No.9 Cafe, Bishops Cleeve this Thursday, 26 May 15:00-16:00.

Here are the projects you can choose from to make and take home to your dad, brother, uncle, well any male relative/friend! lol

fathers day male cards

Aren’t they amazing! I love them and loved making them.  I made them using SU products, some of which are retiring and some are carrying over into our new Catalogue, that comes out 1 June.  So why not pop along on Thursday to make one of these gorgeous cards? If you can’t make it but would love to make them, either book a 1-2-1 with me, or order the products online through my online shop.  The list of products I used is below (remember some of the products are retiring, so if you want them you best be quick!).

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We’re showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin’Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

The New Spring/Summer Catalogue has sooo many gorgeous products it was sooo hard to choose one product to showcase.  I did eventually choose products from the ‘It’s My Party’ Suite which includes the Party Wishes Stamp Set, It’s my Party DSP Paper stack, which is 12″ X 12″.  I also used the ‘Confetti’ Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and finally the Party Punch Pack, so small and cute, but gives a huge Punch! lol

Here is the first Card I made, it is a Slider Card which is great fun and interactive.

slider front

This is the slider Card closed, waiting to reveal its ‘secret’!  Isn’t the It’s my Party DSP Paper Stack so bright and cheerful” I love it!

slider card pulled up

Here the slider is pulled up to reveal the sentiment underneath and on the pulled up Tag more embellishment! There are so many Stamps in the Party Wishes Stamp Set, so much choice.

slider card inside

I decorated the inside of the card too!  This time I stamped the Cupcakes and the Balloons (again from the Party Wishes Stamp Set) then punched them out using the Party Punch Pack. The three strings for the balloons were stamped using Archival Black Ink.

There are three punches in the Party Punch Pack; the cupcake, balloon and the candle (which I have used in my other project).  They are so cute and what is also great about them, you will no longer have white edging around the stamped images when they are punched out because the punches are slightly smaller than the stamps! Brilliant, making the balloons etc look more realistic! LOVE IT!

The other project I wanted to show you used more products from ‘It’s my Party’ Suite.

Confetti embossed coloured

Isn’t it lovely, so bright and cheerful? I used the Confetti Embossing Folder, then coloured the embossed card using Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo inks and sponges. Can you see the punched out Candle on top of the cake? Told you I would use the Candle punch from the Party Punch Pack hehe.

Well I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I have made using a few of the new products from the Spring/Summer Catalogue and I hope you will have a go yourselves.

So now it’s time to hop on over to Lizy’s blog to see what amazing projects she has made with some new products.
