A few more Cards to Inspire!

Cards to Inspire, I hope so anyway! lol  We are in the final throws of moving!  Removal chappy in today packing ready for Friday! YEYE!  Can not wait!

So I thought I would show you the few cards I have managed to make in my dwindling craft room – which now by the way lol is completely packed – lol.

The first one is using a brand new stamp set that is only available 1-31 August!  Called ‘Colour Your Season’ ( pop back tomorrow to find out all about the bundle you can get with this stamp set).  It is a gorgeous stamp set and I coloured it in using some new Watercolour Pencils (also available from 1 August).

The second and third cards, aren’t they gorgeous? I used a beautiful stamp set called ‘Dandelion Wishes’ and the background was Bokeh Dots stamp set.  Here are the other products I used to make these two cards, click on each image for details and to order from my Online shop.

The next quilt effect background card I made for a dear friend whose Anniversary is today – Happy Anniversary Trudie!  Hope you liked the card lol.  As soon as I saw the embossing folder that made this effect, I knew I had to have it!  Here’s what I used:

Next, I made this card for one of my Team, Jilly Rickards to celebrate her 5th Anniversary as a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator.  Inspiration for this card came from Mixed Up Crafts.  Here’s the products I used for this one:

Another dear friend, Gill celebrated her wedding Anniversary recently so I made the Tulip Card for them.  Curling the top tulip petal and mounting it using a Dimensional makes it look 3D.  They loved it!  Here’s what I used:

The final card, I actually made with my dear friend and Team member Jilly when I went round to her craft room for a bit of down time from packing lol.  I used her products which was great as I hadn’t got these, but of course it meant I had to order them for myself – bad influence Jilly Rickards! LOL!  Here’s what we used:

So, whilst I have not been able to run my business as efficiently as I wanted and video any tutorials, I hope you agree I have inspired you with the lovely cards I have made for friends and family.  (I did make a couple that I forgot to take photos of! Ahhhhh! lol)

Anyway that’s it for now, I hope I will get back on here tomorrow with details of the amazing Bundle I mentioned earlier that you can get only during August!  So check back tomorrow!

Bye for now!

The other reminder is you only have until 31 December to reserve your Stamparatus!

Doesn’t it look fun?  Stampin’Up! have decided it was so popular when the first reservation window was opened that instead of staggering the reservation windows they have left this last window of opportunity open just until 31 December.  This means the sooner you reserve yours the sooner you will get yours after 19 March 2018!  Click on my ‘RESERVE YOURS TODAY’  button on my right hand side bar and reserve yours today!  You won’t want to miss out!  Once 31 December has past you won’t be able to reserve one again!  This is your last opportunity to get one in your hands early!

I was lucky enough to be part of the L2L Team that collaborated with Stampin’Up! in designing, testing etc this product, so I was able to pre-order mine and will be getting mine hopefully tomorrow! YEYE!!!!  I can’t wait, I am so excited to get my hands on this amazing product. I just know it’s gonna give me a new way of stamping, make it so much more enjoyable even though it is already, but this apparatus is gonna help me do the 2 or 3 step stamping much easier and quicker and more accurately than when I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig!

I will be making some video showing you how to use the Stamparatus, so if you haven’t reserved yours yet, do it today, so you can see the videos I do.  If you’re just not sure if you will want it or need it – I can’t see why you would think that, but hey, I understand, lol, why not watch my videos in a couple of days to see what I do with it, then reserve yours before 31 December!

Below is a video from Stampin’Up! giving you 5 reasons why you should own a Stamparatus:

I’m sure once you’ve watched this video from Stampin’Up! you’ll be itching to get your hands on it.  IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH OF A REASON OR 5 LOL WHY YOU SHOULD RESERVE YOURS THROUGH ME, once you’ve received yours, you will be able to access some VIP tutorial I will be making especially for you to help you get started and make some amazing cards. These videos are in addition to the ones I will be releasing hopefully over weekend or early next week.  These VIP tutorial videos are exclusively for Customers reserving their Stamparatus through me.  When you click on my Reservation button, if you don’t have an account already with me, you will need to create one (check it says Sue Hall in the top right hand corner.  Please go to a previous post of mine entitled ‘FREE Shipping’,(unfortunately FREE Shipping is no longer available), which has screenshots showing you how to create an account. For this online reservation please note that once you have filled out the profile set up you will be taken directly to the Stamparatus Reservation window to reserve yours), please follow instructions.

For future online shopping, just go to my online shop from this blog and sign in with your email address and password you created when reserving your Stamparatus.  Always ensure Sue Hall is in the top right hand corner when placing your orders.  That way you will get my own personal thanks and gifts (if appropriate sales).  Dont forget to add the Hostess Code for that month’s Online Order, in order to receive a gift just from me for doing so (providing order is £20+).

Drop me a line with your email address as soon as you have yours, to let me know and once I have confirmation who has got them through me, I can release the VIP videos to you personally.

Christmas Quilt – What a Fun Afternoon!

Christmas Quilt – well I have had so much fun this afternoon with my friend Gill, playing with the New Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, matching Dies and Designer Series Paper!

When I first saw this suite I thought mmmmm it’s ok, but Oh my Gosh, it’s not mmmmmm – it’s AMAZING!!!!!  You’ve just gotta get your hands on it, the papers are amazing, they not only have lovely paper patterns for backgrounds, but they even have papers that can be cut out exactly with the Quilt Builder Framelit Dies!  This suite is NOT JUST for Quilters! It’s not even JUST FOR CHRISTMAS! Just take a look at the three cards we made this afternoon!

See what I mean?  We have a birthday one and two Christmas ones! All are gorgeous and so easy to make with the Quilted Christmas Suite.  Did you notice the gorgeous stitched felt Holly leaves and berries? How adorable are they? I love them and they are so well made!

Thanks to Alejandra Gomez for her inspiration.

For all the products I’ve used and everything else that is in the Quilted Christmas Suite check out the new Seasonal Catalogue and go to my Online shop to buy them! You won’t be disappointed!

Change as good as a rest!

That’s what people say ‘Change is as good as a rest!’  Well I didn’t want to rest on my laurels but wanted to change the way I did things with my business.  So I’ve taken the very brave (some of you may say fool hardy hehe) decision to stop running my classes!

I had my last class just over a week ago and whilst it was sad, I know I will keep in touch with these lovely ladies and perhaps we will craft together in the future.

This is the card we made:  They had a choice of either having the cute doggy or the pile of pressies being pulled up the card!  Each have a hidden christmas sentiment that gets revealed as they are pulled up.  Great Fun and everyone loved making it!

If you want to make one of these cards here’s the products I used, just click on each item to place and order with me on my online shop. (remember to use September’s Hostess Code if your order is less than £150).  Use the Hostess Code and get a gift just from me sent directly to you by me to thank you. (remember I need your details).

Now I thought I would give you a heads up on just one of the new things I will be doing in my new venture!  I am so excited and I really hope you will be too and will continue to support me and join me in my new venture!

Firstly, I will be doing a ‘Product Share’ from the New Seasonal Catalogue!  What does this mean you ask?  Well in a nutshell, I choose a Suite of Products from the New Seasonal Catalogue, put a sample of the products from this suite (not including Stamp Set, dies or punches) together, place them in a strong plastic box (which you get to keep) and post it directly out to you ready for you to use to make your own gorgeous projects! How cool is that!   Examples of the types of products you will get:-  6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Cardstock, Embellishments, Ribbon, things like that, depending which suite I choose.

At the moment this is in the planning stage, but I would love to hear from you if you would be interested in taking part in this Product Share.  I plan to choose a different suite every month, so you get the chance to have lots of products at a fraction of the cost!  This will also help you try many of the lovely products before purchasing a full pack of say Designer Series Paper or gorgeous Embellishments.  It is very good value and a great way to get your hands on lots of products.

The first Product Share will go live Monday 2 October!

Email me asap if you would like more information, but drop back next week for the details of the first Product Share and more information about other things I will be doing in my new venture!

Thanks for dropping by!

Ready For Christmas!

Ready for Christmas! What! I hear you say! I’ve only just got back from my Cruise and have had to put my Christmas Cardmaking Hat on for my LAST Monthly Class this weekend!  I thought I would go out with a bang and have spent all day today creating a most amazing Card! Yes, I know it’s Christmas themed, but once you’ve learnt the technique you can use it for any type of Card – birthday, Anniversary, Wedding, the list is endless! lol

So here is the Card we will be making this weekend. I’ve called it a ‘Pulley Card’, as you pull on a tab and the little dog gets pulled up into the night sky to reveal a very apt saying as it goes!

Isn’t it fun?  It took a lot of playing around and I am exhausted but so chuffed with it! I know one fellow Demonstrator who will love the little doggy! lol

Drop back next week when I will put a table of products used to make this beautiful card.

Let me know what you think, by leaving a comment.

June’s Class using Brand New Stamp Set!

Hi everyone,

June’s Class is upon us, a bit delayed due to me being on holiday!

As many of you will know we have a Brand New Annual Catalogue that came out on 1 June – whilst I was on holiday! lol So I’m all behind, oops sorry!

This months class is using two brand new stamp sets from this new Catalogue and as soon as I saw the Bright Wishes Stamp Set with the gorgeous and very detailed Wishing Well, I knew I had to have it!  I love watercolouring, and have done a few classes using watercolour pencils and blender pen and aquapainter.  However we never really had many detailed stamps to show off using the watercolouring techniques.  Now, we have so many I am going to be spending lots of money buying them all and teaching my class members how to get the most out of them – even those who aren’t keen on colouring hehe.

This month’s class is a prime example! My two projects are two very different cards and two different colouring techniques.  The first one is a Card with a box inside. When you open the card, it reveals the Wishing Well beautifully coloured in with Watercolour pencils and blended using a Blender Pen.  Gorgeous and brilliant because it folds flat so fit a normal size envelope and cheap to post! lol

This card would make a lovely Father’s Day or Birthday Card, or even if you added a bit more glitz a gorgeous female card!

The second card (thanks to Shelly Godby) is again using the Bright Wishes Stamp Set as well as Happy Birthday Gorgeous! Stamp set.  This card is a Monochrome Card and is using one of the Brand New In-Colors, Lemon Lime Twist! It is so vibrant, so bright, it’s amazing! I must admit when I first saw it, I wasn’t sure, but like most things once you get your hands on it, oh my goodness, you are soooo glad you did!!!

As you can see I’ve made this card as a birthday card, but again it would make a lovely Father’s Day card, or if you changed the colours a female card.

I am sure you will want to get your hands on these new products, so why not go to my online shop or contact me to get your hands on a hard copy of the Brand New Catalogue sent to you.

If you fancy making these two cards, place an order (minimum £30) via my online shop and once the order has gone through and you’ve allowed me to contact you, I will email you the tutorial for both cards.

Below are the products I have used to make these two cards.  Just click on each photo to place the order.  Remember to use the June Hostess Code (if your order is over £150 DO NOT USE IT) and I will send you a gift just from me to thank you for your order (you must give me permission to contact you, otherwise I won’t get your details).

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

May Hostess Code and this months class

Hi,

Yes I know I’m running a little late with issuing the May Hostess Code! lol  What can I say, but I’ve been so busy playing with some of the amazing pre-order us lucky Demonstrators get to order before the new Catalogue is released in June!  You are going to be amazed at how fantastic this new Annual Catalogue is! So many beautiful new stamp sets, all NEW Designer Series Papers which are to die for! On top of that there’s the new ribbons, new embellishments – oh and of course this year we have 5 yes 5 brand new In-Colors!  You have got to see them! I even bought a new dress which has matching flower colours to the new Lemon/lime Twist! lol

So why not place an order with me today from the retiring Catalogues to ensure you get a copy of the Brand New Catalogue when it’s released on 1 June! I will personally post one to you along with a bespoke card showcasing some of the gorgeous DSP and one of the New In-colors, along with a very useful bookmark again showing all the new In-colors, so you can mark your favourite page of stamps etc!  Remember to use the New Hostess Code (find it on my right side bar) and you will also receive a FREE gift from me (may even be some of the new Ribbon or embellishments!).

This months class is a small affair as alot of people are away or busy, so I have decided to make a more technical card – A Pivot Twist Card!  I made one of these months ago before they became the latest trend, but because it can take longer than some of my cards to make in a class, I have not been able to teach this one.

However as I say I only have one class of four coming on Saturday, so I thought now is a great opportunity to showcase the card!  Thanks goes to both  Tuppence coloured (here’s a link to her blog Tuppence Coloured) for her inspiration as well as Frances Martin (here’s a link to her Frances Martin) for help with making the pivot mechanism easier to teach).  I have written a tutorial and made a gorgeous card which I am looking forward to teaching tomorrow.

up n away pivot card inside

up n away pivot card

If you would like to get your hands on the tutorial so you can make this on-trend and amazing Pivot twist Card, then place an order (£20+) with me via my online shop using the new Hostess Code (M4S6FNBU).  As soon as I have received confirmation of your order, I will email you your Tutorial.  If you would like a Copy of the Brand New Catalogue, once you have placed your order, email me with your full details, including your postal address and I will post one out to you as soon as they are available.

I am also sorting out all the gorgeous new Ribbon and Dsp ready for you to get your hands on a Share of them all.  So if you fancy having a share of them, please email me with your details so I can let you know when they are ready to purchase.  Check back here in the next couple of weeks for more details.

Below are the products I used to make this gorgeous Pivot/twist Card.

Thanks for dropping by.
