Sale-a-bration is Over, my Team is awesome!

Well that’s Sale-a-bration over for another year! It has been such fun showcasing all the wonderful FREE products my customers and Class members had the chance to get.

Stampin’Up! always do a challenge for us Demonstrators during SAB and this year was no exception.  However, I decided to give my Team a challenge from me, just to ‘spice’ things up a bit! lol  Well they rose to the challenge and I am so impressed with them.

First of all any of my Downliners that had sales of £250+ during SAB I rewarded them with a £15 voucher to spend on SU Products through me. I was chuffed to bit that Kim Renn, Jilly Rickards, Karen Nash and Jane Drake all achieved this.

For any of my Downliners that Recruited during SAB and, that new recruit spent £75+ I rewarded them with a £25 voucher to spend on SU Products through me.  Well, 2 amazing Downliners, Jilly Rickards and Karen Nash both achieved this!  How amazing is that, well done ladies!

Finally for the Downliner that got the Highest Sales during SAB I made a lovely Photo Framed Gift, which I hope she will put on her wall to inspire her.  She also got a certificate and will spend a half day crafting with me. Huge congratulations Karen, who managed sales of £1322.54 (1468.47 CSV)!  That is truly an amazing amount of sales and I am so proud of her.

For myself, I recruited 5 new Downliners and I hope they will be inspired by the rest of the Team through the coming months and will gain in confidence and enjoy their time as Demonstrators and have fun being part of my Team.

If you fancy joining me and my Team you can, just click on the ‘Join Me’ button at the top of this website, or get in touch with me direct to discuss it.  I am always available if any of my Team need advice or just a bit of a confidence boost, inspiration, whether they are Hobby Demonstrators or running their own businesses and teams of their own.  I take my job of mentoring very seriously and I love watching everyone in my Team grow.

I presented my amazing Downliners with their certificates/gift at our team meeting on Friday 8 April.  I also gave everyone at our Team meeting their Team Pin and a welcome Card. Thanks to my lovely hubby Mike, who made the Pins for me!

I am off to Onstage Local in a weeks’ time, and some of my Team are coming with me which is so exciting!  When I get back I will post what we got up to and show you all the FREEBIES we got!

It’s My Party Suite

Hi,

I hope you enjoyed my cards I showed in our recent Pinkies Blog hop, using ‘It’s My Party’ Suite from Stampin’Up!  This suite is amazing and I LOVE IT! The stamp set has so many lovely stamps including lovely sentiments, everything you need to make gorgeous cards, whether for younger children or adults. There is also gorgeous Designer Speciality Paper (DSP) which is 12″ x 12″ so plenty to make lots of cards, boxes and gift wrapping.  Then there is the cute little Party Punch Pack which when you see them you will fall in love with them.  The great thing about them is that the stamped image is slightly bigger than the punch so when you punch them out there is no white area surrounding it – so much more realistic.

Here’s the first card I did in my blog hop participation, a Slider Card.

slider card pulled up slider card inside slider front

I taught this in two of my classes this weekend and everyone thought it was amazing. They said that even though it took concentration to make lol they really enjoyed it and would be making more.  This will be easier for them as I have made a video and a written tutorial for them lol.  You too can have access to the video and a copy of the written tutorial by placing a £45+ order with me by clicking on the products from the listing below. As soon as it goes through I will email you the video link and tutorial. Remember don’t tick ‘NO contact’ when placing your order, as I won’t be able to access your details so won’t be able to send the tutorial or video link to you.  Don’t forgot also for every £45 you spend between 5 January and 31 March which is Saleabration time, you can choose a FREE Product from the Saleabration (SAB) Catalogue. There’s stamp set, gorgeous DSP, embossed vellum and Project Life Cards.

Here are the products I used to make this gorgeous slider card.

We didn’t have time to make the other card, so we will make that one in next months class. Here it is though along with the products I used to make it. Again click on the products below to order from my online shop and if the order is £45+ you not only get to choose a FREE SAB product, but I will email you (once the order has gone through) a link to the video and a written tutorial. Pinkies Blog Hop

blog hop logo

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We’re showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin’Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

The New Spring/Summer Catalogue has sooo many gorgeous products it was sooo hard to choose one product to showcase.  I did eventually choose products from the ‘It’s My Party’ Suite which includes the Party Wishes Stamp Set, It’s my Party DSP Paper stack, which is 12″ X 12″.  I also used the ‘Confetti’ Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and finally the Party Punch Pack, so small and cute, but gives a huge Punch! lol

Here is the first Card I made, it is a Slider Card which is great fun and interactive.

slider front

This is the slider Card closed, waiting to reveal its ‘secret’!  Isn’t the It’s my Party DSP Paper Stack so bright and cheerful” I love it!

slider card pulled up

Here the slider is pulled up to reveal the sentiment underneath and on the pulled up Tag more embellishment! There are so many Stamps in the Party Wishes Stamp Set, so much choice.

slider card inside

I decorated the inside of the card too!  This time I stamped the Cupcakes and the Balloons (again from the Party Wishes Stamp Set) then punched them out using the Party Punch Pack. The three strings for the balloons were stamped using Archival Black Ink.

There are three punches in the Party Punch Pack; the cupcake, balloon and the candle (which I have used in my other project).  They are so cute and what is also great about them, you will no longer have white edging around the stamped images when they are punched out because the punches are slightly smaller than the stamps! Brilliant, making the balloons etc look more realistic! LOVE IT!

The other project I wanted to show you used more products from ‘It’s my Party’ Suite.

Confetti embossed coloured

Isn’t it lovely, so bright and cheerful? I used the Confetti Embossing Folder, then coloured the embossed card using Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo inks and sponges. Can you see the punched out Candle on top of the cake? Told you I would use the Candle punch from the Party Punch Pack hehe.

Well I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I have made using a few of the new products from the Spring/Summer Catalogue and I hope you will have a go yourselves.

So now it’s time to hop on over to Lizy’s blog to see what amazing projects she has made with some new products.

Heat Embossing, Vellum, Ribbon

Hi,

I had a great time last Thursday with a lovely lady who comes every Thursday for a 1-2-1 with me.  This week I taught her how to heat emboss on vellum and how to colour in.  The second card, she wanted to do a card using ribbon so I taught her how to stamp onto small pieces of card even when the stamp is larger than the card and how to attach the ribbon.

As you can see from the pictures below of the two cards we did, they were gorgeous and alot of techniques are shown.  I have also made a couple of videos showing how I made these cards, so click on the photo and it will take you to the video.  The video/pictures are also on the tutorial page for future reference should you wish to look at them again.

Wow what a project this month!

Hi,
Well my classes said they wanted a challenge to make something different, so who was I to refuse! lol Wow what a project this month!

The three classes I ran this month made the same card-I did have another project in hand ‘in case’ they managed to finish this one, but I defeated them! lol

Angled Crossover Card Front

Angled Crossover Card Front

I designed an ‘Angled Crossover Card’, which was in itself a new Folding technique they hadn’t done before, plus stamping all over the base card to look like Designer speciality paper. Then covered the card in lovely butterflies to give it a real ‘WOW’ Factor!

First of all I cut and scored the two pieces of whisper white cs so they slotted together to make the ‘Angled Crossover Base’. Then I used the Garden in Bloom Stamp set which is a 2-step stamp set. First of all I stamped all the outlines of the flowers, stems, leaves and bees using the outline stamps and Black Stazon Ink. Then filled them in with different coloured Inks using the Fill-in stamps from the same stamp set, really good value this stamp set! Once all sides of the base card were stamped all over, I then sponged all over all sides with Pool Party and a sponge dauber. This was very subtle but really enhanced the flowers etc. Once completed, slot the two pieces together to make the cross-over angled card.

To finish off I stamped large and small butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Daffodil Delight Inks. I punched them out using the matching Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly Punches. These then had their wings curled using a bone folder, stuck one on top of another to make 4x of each size/colour butterfly and stuck onto the card using Glue dots.

I stamped and fussy cut two Dragonflies from the Awesomely Artistic Stamp set and Wild Wasabi Ink. These were stuck one on top of the other with 2-way glue pen, the wings curled and stuck to card with glue dots. Finally, I stamped Best wishes from Petite Pairs stamp set, punched out with Washi Label Punch and stuck to front of card with a Dimensional and stuck another piece of whisper white cs on back of card to write on.

I hope you agree with me and my classes that it really is a magnificant card, well worth the time and effort to make. Has to be a very special person that receives this card! lol

Best get off lots more to design and prepare for my next Christmas Themed Workshop, oh and my Coffee n Card next week!
Thanks for dropping by!
