A few more Cards to Inspire!

Cards to Inspire, I hope so anyway! lol  We are in the final throws of moving!  Removal chappy in today packing ready for Friday! YEYE!  Can not wait!

So I thought I would show you the few cards I have managed to make in my dwindling craft room – which now by the way lol is completely packed – lol.

The first one is using a brand new stamp set that is only available 1-31 August!  Called ‘Colour Your Season’ ( pop back tomorrow to find out all about the bundle you can get with this stamp set).  It is a gorgeous stamp set and I coloured it in using some new Watercolour Pencils (also available from 1 August).

The second and third cards, aren’t they gorgeous? I used a beautiful stamp set called ‘Dandelion Wishes’ and the background was Bokeh Dots stamp set.  Here are the other products I used to make these two cards, click on each image for details and to order from my Online shop.

The next quilt effect background card I made for a dear friend whose Anniversary is today – Happy Anniversary Trudie!  Hope you liked the card lol.  As soon as I saw the embossing folder that made this effect, I knew I had to have it!  Here’s what I used:

Next, I made this card for one of my Team, Jilly Rickards to celebrate her 5th Anniversary as a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator.  Inspiration for this card came from Mixed Up Crafts.  Here’s the products I used for this one:

Another dear friend, Gill celebrated her wedding Anniversary recently so I made the Tulip Card for them.  Curling the top tulip petal and mounting it using a Dimensional makes it look 3D.  They loved it!  Here’s what I used:

The final card, I actually made with my dear friend and Team member Jilly when I went round to her craft room for a bit of down time from packing lol.  I used her products which was great as I hadn’t got these, but of course it meant I had to order them for myself – bad influence Jilly Rickards! LOL!  Here’s what we used:

So, whilst I have not been able to run my business as efficiently as I wanted and video any tutorials, I hope you agree I have inspired you with the lovely cards I have made for friends and family.  (I did make a couple that I forgot to take photos of! Ahhhhh! lol)

Anyway that’s it for now, I hope I will get back on here tomorrow with details of the amazing Bundle I mentioned earlier that you can get only during August!  So check back tomorrow!

Bye for now!

Latest Cards I have made to inspire you!

Need some inspiration? Well here are some of my latest creations for you to see.

I am nearly there in my move to be near our daughter and family so finding time to craft is getting harder lol.

I hope they give you some inspiration and you fancy having a go at making them.  Below each one are the products I used, so click on each product to go to my online shop to order them so you can have a go yourself.

The first one is a Shadow Box card I made for my gorgeous daughter for her recent birthday.  I love making cards for family and friends that are different and have amazing techniques involved.

Did you see the ‘Hand Delivered’ Stamp Set amongst the products I used to make my daughters card?  I absolutely love this brand new stamp, which is a Hostess Stamp Set.  The great thing about this stamp set is you can get it just by having a party with me (getting sales at the party of £150+), or placing an order of £150+ and choosing the stamp set as part of your stampin rewards money!

There are so many events you could use this stamp set for, Graduation, Weddings, Thank you, Birthdays etc.  Here’s another card I made using the ‘Hand Delivered’ stamp set.

Nearly the end of the School Year, why not commission me to make some lovely Thank you cards for the Teachers while you wait for your stamp set etc to arrive?

Here’s another one I made using the ‘Hand Delivered’ Stamp set – told you I loved it lol.  This time it was for a dear friends daughter’s birthday.

I used the Laser Cut SDSP for the leaves, and small powder pink flower.  It is so delicate and gorgeous!  I used my paper snips to cut out the small powder pink flower as well as the two different types of leaves.  Then I sponged them to create this beautiful effect.  Did you spy the two rows of circles behind the top layer of card?  Again this was from the Laser Cut SDSP that I cut down to size and sponged with lovely lipstick ink.

I have made some more cards using the Laser Cut SDSP, so why not order yourself some and pop back soon to see the cards I made using it, you won’t be disappointed!

My friend’s daughter is called ‘Emma’ and I used the very versatile Make a Difference stamp set to stamp out her name on the board the lady is holding!  Makes the card so personal, I love it when I can do that.  This stamp set is fantastic for giving you all the letters etc to personalise your cards/gifts.  So why not add it to your order?

I hope you have enjoyed my latest creations and they inspire you to create your own.  Why not place an order today, but remember if you want the Hand Delivered stamp set your order needs to be £150+ to be able to add it using your stamping rewards money or host a party!  DO NOT USE THE HOSTESS CODE FOR £150+ ORDER otherwise, I’ll get the reward and you won’t! lol

Enjoy!

Onstage is nearly here!

Hi,

First an update on my lovely hubby, Mike.  Some of you will have heard, my darling hubby, Mike, had a stroke on 12 March, which was both frightening and shocking!  Luckily it was a minor stroke, but it has affected his left side, in particular his arm, but also his speech.  Slowly over the last couple of weeks he has made great progress and is now able to speak properly most of the time.  It is going to be a slow process of rehabilitation, but all the Consultants are confident that he will make a full recovery.

Hence, I have had to make a decision about OnStage and that is that I will not be able to attend this weekend.  OnStage is such a fantastic part of Stampin’Up! and being a Demonstrator it is for most of us, the highlight of the Year!  We get the chance to meet fellow Demonstrators from all over Europe and have the chance to congratulate all those who have achieved milestones within Stampin’Up!

I am pleased to say that 4 of my Direct Downliners and 3 of my second Level Downliners will be going to OnStage and I know they will have a fantastic time!

I had made a card for each of them to give out at OnStage, but as I am unable to go, I gave them it along with a gift from me early.  Here are the cards:

I think they are amazing and it will be a lovely momento of the time they spent at OnStage.  Below are the products I used to make the cards.  I am sure you can think of lots of ways to use the Apron Die, even to make little boxes!  The Die set also comes with BBQ tools, so you could make a lovely male birthday card with that!

Remember to use the Hostess Code S4SGSTEQ for April on your orders and if it’s £20+ you will get a FREE gift just from me as a thank you for placing an order with me.   To see how many of you actually read this post all the way to the bottom,  lol, places an order with me for £30+ AND leaves the Word ‘INSPIRE’ in a comment after this post, will get an extra FREE gift this month.  Don’t miss out!

Thanks

Party Pandas – so cute!

Hi,

I just don’t know where all the time is going!  I can’t believe we are into March already!  Don’t get me started on the weather! GRRRR! Hubby and I were meant to have gone up to see our gorgeous Granddaughter last Wednesday, but the snow here was sooooo bad our village got completely cut off!  All roads in and out blocked!  Thankfully our lovely daughter sent lots of photos to keep us going lol.

Anyway, we are still pressing on with clearing our home ready for a move and so my craft room is shrinking lol.  However I did make a couple of cards last month, one using the gorgeous Saleabrations FREEBIE, Party Pandas.  Aren’t the stamps cute?  So many uses, birthdays, Anniversary, Valentine, just to tell someone you love them, or to say ‘Hi’.

Here’s the card I made for my swap at our Pinkies Training last month.

Isn’t it cute?  The great thing about it is it wobbles! Oh yes it does! lol  Gently flick the panda and he wobbles around!  The papers I used for the background was from the 6″ x 6″ Picture Perfect Dsp Pack.  It has proven so popular and has gorgeous colours and images in it.  Just look at all the different patterns you get and with them being 6″ x 6″ they are ideal for cards and scrapbooking alike!

I just love going to our Pinkies Training, being part of such a huge Team, you get to meet so many lovely fellow Demonstrators, get amazing support and fantastic inspiration!  Want to know more contact me and join my Team and you can join me and my team at future trainings!

Below are the products I used to make this fun card!  If you wish to see the video and receive the tutorial, use the Hostess Code for March, place an order for £45+ with me and not only will you get access to the video, the tutorial emailed to you, but if you choose the Party Pandas stamp set as your FREE Saleabration item, I will personally send you a card kit and tutorial to make another beautiful card using your FREE Party Pandas stamp set.  Don’t forget to allow me to contact you when you put in your order via my online shop.

Saleabration is almost over, you only have until 31 March 2018 to place an order of £45+ to get any SAB FREEBIES!  The latest lot of SAB products are to die for, especially the gorgeous Springtime Foils SDSP.  Just look at the paper, it is amazing!

Here’s a card I made using this gorgeous paper!  If you spend £90+ on your order, you could get both the Party Pandas stamp set but you could also get these beautiful SDSP!  Then you will be able to join me when I show you how to colour them using various products, inks, aquapainters, marker pens etc, and you will be able to make your own gorgeous cards, just like mine!

Well I guess I better go so you can finish reading and go and place your order with me from my online shop (use the Hostess Code).  Remember all the FREE stuff you will get from me when your order is £45+!!!!!

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Moving Barn Door Birthday Card!

Hi,

Sorry I’ve been so busy this last couple of weeks with my gorgeous granddaughter and de-cluttering our home ready for putting it on the market!

I haven’t had much time to play but managed to fit in making this lovely card!  I used the amazing Barn Door Bundle from our Seasonal Catalogue (p43)!  It is such an amazing bundle and yes the barn door does actually move from side to side!  Just take a look at the pictures!

I’ve seen a few of these, using small washers for the moving mechanism, but I didn’t have any so I used the 1/2″ circle punch we sell instead with a dimensional between two of them (four in all need punching out).  This was so much fun and I can see this having so many uses, perhaps hiding a photo of your loved one behind the door, for an anniversary card, or a number to celebrate a milestone, the ideas are endless – perhaps you could come up with some.

I have decided to offer you a lovely free gift as well as FREE access to my own video which shows you how to make this amazing card.  Just order the Barn Door Bundle from me via my online shop using February’s Hostess Code and once your order has gone through(remember to allow me to contact you), I will send you a special gift and access to the video.

Don’t forget it’s also still SALEABRATION Time! So if you buy this Bundle and some cardstock, dimensionals etc, which total  £45 or more you can choose one of our amazing Saleabration products ABSOLUTELY FREE!!  How great is that, it’s a fantastic time to take up my offer of a free gift just from me, free access to my video showcasing how to make this wonderful card AND, spend £45 and get a FREE Saleabration product too!  Remember to use my hostess code!

Click here to see the Saleabration Products.

Below are the products I used to make this card, just click on them and place your order today!

Farewell Lunch

Yesterday was a very special day for me. Last month I decided to stop running my monthly classes and move my business in a new direction and venture. My ladies were all upset but understood why; some of them had been with me from the beginning 6+ years ago, and all had become great friends as well as my customers.
Anyway they decided to organise a Farewell Lunch for me. It was so wonderful to see everyone together and to realise how much they thought of me. I had some lovely cards and gifts from them which was so unexpected.
I had made everyone some lovely gifts and a card which I wrote personal words for each and everyone. That brought tears to a few eyes!
Here’s the gifts I made for everyone. The pendant, was made by my hubby, Mike as his thank you to everyone for supporting me and giving me purpose in life.

I shall miss our classes but am sure I will still catch up with these lovely ladies but it’s time to start a new venture!

I hope you will continue dropping by to see how I am progressing and see the new things I am doing!  Over the next week I will be posting video tutorials on how I made the gifts and cards above along with the products I used that you can order from me from my online shop.

August Class Projects

Hi,

I held my penultimate classes this weekend and they were great fun if not emotional.

As from October I will no longer be running my monthly classes at Sue’s Crafting Place, Bishops Cleeve but will be doing online videos/tutorials so I can reach a wider audience.  My hubby and I are also starting a new adventure together with our family so this seems the best time to make changes to my business.  I hope you will continue to support me and may be those of you who couldn’t come to my monthly classes will now be able to participate!

Here are the projects we made this month, I hope you like them and as ever if you want to order the products click on the various products which will take you to my online shop.  Remember spend £30+ with me and allow me to contact you and you will get unlimited access to the videos for these projects and the PDF tutorial will be emailed to you once the order has gone through.  Don’t forget to use the August Hostess Code in order to receive a FREE gift just from me!

My inspiration this month came from Dawn Griffith, a truly inspirational lady and fellow Demonstrator. Click on the two links below to see her projects.

May Hostess Code and this months class

Hi,

Yes I know I’m running a little late with issuing the May Hostess Code! lol  What can I say, but I’ve been so busy playing with some of the amazing pre-order us lucky Demonstrators get to order before the new Catalogue is released in June!  You are going to be amazed at how fantastic this new Annual Catalogue is! So many beautiful new stamp sets, all NEW Designer Series Papers which are to die for! On top of that there’s the new ribbons, new embellishments – oh and of course this year we have 5 yes 5 brand new In-Colors!  You have got to see them! I even bought a new dress which has matching flower colours to the new Lemon/lime Twist! lol

So why not place an order with me today from the retiring Catalogues to ensure you get a copy of the Brand New Catalogue when it’s released on 1 June! I will personally post one to you along with a bespoke card showcasing some of the gorgeous DSP and one of the New In-colors, along with a very useful bookmark again showing all the new In-colors, so you can mark your favourite page of stamps etc!  Remember to use the New Hostess Code (find it on my right side bar) and you will also receive a FREE gift from me (may even be some of the new Ribbon or embellishments!).

This months class is a small affair as alot of people are away or busy, so I have decided to make a more technical card – A Pivot Twist Card!  I made one of these months ago before they became the latest trend, but because it can take longer than some of my cards to make in a class, I have not been able to teach this one.

However as I say I only have one class of four coming on Saturday, so I thought now is a great opportunity to showcase the card!  Thanks goes to both  Tuppence coloured (here’s a link to her blog Tuppence Coloured) for her inspiration as well as Frances Martin (here’s a link to her Frances Martin) for help with making the pivot mechanism easier to teach).  I have written a tutorial and made a gorgeous card which I am looking forward to teaching tomorrow.

up n away pivot card inside

up n away pivot card

If you would like to get your hands on the tutorial so you can make this on-trend and amazing Pivot twist Card, then place an order (£20+) with me via my online shop using the new Hostess Code (M4S6FNBU).  As soon as I have received confirmation of your order, I will email you your Tutorial.  If you would like a Copy of the Brand New Catalogue, once you have placed your order, email me with your full details, including your postal address and I will post one out to you as soon as they are available.

I am also sorting out all the gorgeous new Ribbon and Dsp ready for you to get your hands on a Share of them all.  So if you fancy having a share of them, please email me with your details so I can let you know when they are ready to purchase.  Check back here in the next couple of weeks for more details.
