Well, the Celebrations are nearly over for another year but I thought you might like to see some of the cards I made for my loved ones as well as my customers and Team members. Also included are Commission Cards and birthday cards! I have been sooooo busy this month, never thought I was going to get it all completed in time for Christmas! I was making the family cards on Christmas Eve!!!! lol
Here’s the family ones first:
The first one I used ‘Shooting Stars’ stamp set and matching die and was for my hubby. The next one used Jolly Friends and again a die from the sliding star framelits, for my Son. My daughter and hubby got the Stocking one which is supposed to resemble a bannister with the stockings hanging from it (don’t think they realised that lol). The last one and I must admit the most special was for our first grandchild for her 1st Christmas! A card in a box using Snow Place stamp set and matching dies (I’ve blurred out the baby pictures that are on the two side panels). These were such fun to make, and when you have read the blog entry, you will realise why I was making these on Christmas Eve! lol
The next set of cards were ones I made for my Team and Customers as a thank you for their support over the last year. I also made them all a small gift to show my appreciation:
The first card was for my Team members and I used the gorgeous Father Christmas Stamp set, absolutely adorable with so much detail. I loved using this stamp without colouring it in. The second picture is the box I created holding all the gifts I made for my team members. This time, having made the box using the Gift Box punch board, I stamped all the ‘mice’ images onto whisper white cs and coloured them in using the BRAND NEW Watercolour Pencils that are in the brand new Seasonal Catalogue! These will be available from my from 6 January, so if you want a copy of the catalogue please get in touch! Once I had coloured the images in, I used an aquapainter to make it look watercoloured. Gorgeous and so much fun!
The third picture is of the card I made for my customers, a shaker card, using Mica Flakes and the shake and celebrate stamp set and matching dies. You can even make the cut out resemble Christmas Tree, which I did but oops forgot to take a photo! Take my word for it, lol it’s impressive! lol. The beautiful lumiere jar was the gift I made for my customers and they loved them! I used peaceful pines stamp set and matching dies on vellum, stuck it round the outside of the jar, washi tape around the lid along with dazzling diamond glimmer paper to cover top of lid with a beautiful red glimmer bow. Inside is a battery operated tea light that changes colours and believe me when all your lights are turned down or off, it glows and shines beautifully! In fact, I was asked how I had made it as one of my ladies wants to make some for herself!
Now for some Commission Cards, cards for friends and family too that I have made this month. Told you it’s been a really busy month! lol
The first three cards were all Commissions. The lovely gentleman asked for 9 Christmas cards and I’m not keen on making multiples of the same card, as you may have gathered lol, so these were just some and all different, oops again forgot to take photos of others lol, but they were all different. He was thrilled with them. I used merry tags dies and merriest wishes stamp set for the first three cards. Then there’s a Gift Card holder, which, in fact I also made in my last Coffee n Card and made more for my own family. The Santa coat card, I Cased from I think it may have been Gill Arnold, but sorry I can not be sure.
Next I made this amazing framed xmas scene for a friend of mine, as a decoration! You see, she doesn’t put decorations up in her house, lol so I made this and now she has at least one ‘decoration’ to put up every year! lol. As you can see I used lots of different stamp sets and dies, see if you can name them all! lol The motorbike birthday card was for my cousin, unfortunately I was sooo caught up with xmas cards etc, I forgot to make it in time, so I made it a ‘belated’ one instead hehe. Don’t think he minded! lol I used Born to Ride stamp set and the card is a ‘z’ fold card, so much fun I have made lots using this technique and will be teaching it in my first class in January.
I used another z fold card to make this piggy card for a friends hubby (the same friend who doesn’t do xmas decorations hehe). Her hubby is mad about pigs so I had to make a piggy one! lol I used Playful pals to make the big pig and farmyard babies for little piggies. As you can see the z fold technique is great for this type of card. Notice yet another z fold card? Yep this time the crab at sea for brother in law! lol The card in a box was the other commission card the gentleman asked me to make for his granddaughter. So elegant isn’t it, and very girly. The final card is a chest of drawers with jumpers hanging out for a friends son who is mad about jumpers! lol.
Well I think that is about it for now. Christmas is over and now I am back at it, getting ready for the biggest event of the Stampin’Up! Calendar, Saleabration!
So please check back very soon to see what’s on offer, what my new Classes are going to be making and if you fancy a party, do I have a deal for you!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
